El edificio, construido en 1896, es parte del famoso plan de desarrollo urbano del Baron Haussmann, que ha dado tanto prestigio a París.

Al franquear nuestra entrada de carruajes recientemente renovada, con sus dos magníficos portones de bronce, entrará en el elegante y amplio salón de entrada.

La ebanistería y la decoración totalmente nueva del hall fue realizada por el propietario, el Sr. Guy Heilbronn. Aquí será recibido por la directora del hotel, Viviane Collin, o por los recepcionistas. Nuestro personal le brindará todos los servicios de conserjería que necesite, su reserva en un restaurante romántico, una visita guiada de París, información sobre museos, etc.

La historia de un piano .
Cuando la Señora Heilbronn, cuya familia sigue a cargo del hotel, compró el Cecilia en 1956, lo único que quedó del anterior propietario fue un piano. Esta maravilla es obra del famoso fabricante de pianos Gaveau del siglo XIX, cuyos instrumentos son muy apreciados en todo el mundo de la música. Podrá disfrutar del bar (abierto las 24 horas) y tocar el piano si lo desea, y descansar en un cómodo sillón.

Detrás del salón está la sala de desayunos, donde le servimos entre las siete y las diez y media de la mañana un buffet frío, y pan y croissants frescos hechos por un panadero artesano del vecindario. Si lo desea, le serviremos un desayuno continental en su habitación.

Sin necesidad de usar el transporte público, podrá visitar el Arco de Triunfo, los Campos Elíseos y la Torre Eiffel Tower (15 minutos). A pocos minutos con el Metro, llegará a la Place de la Concorde, el museo del Louvre y los jardines de las Tullerías. A cien metros de distancia, la Avenue des Ternes, le ofrece una amplia selección de boutiques, y también puede llegar en 5 minutos (con el RER A) a los grandes almacenes Printemps y Galeries Lafayette, en el Boulevard Haussmann. En las cercanías del hotel hay muchos restaurantes, desde las típicas brasseries parisinas hasta los restaurantes de gran lujo. El famoso mercado al aire libre Poncelet, renombrado por sus excelentes productos de alimentación, está muy cerca del hotel.

"Hotel Cecilia is 2 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees & the nearest Metro station (Charles de Gaulle Etoile). The hotel itself has a warm feel and is elegantly furnished. The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and very helpful for local information. Will definitely go again......"

"The Hotel Cecilia was recommended to us by a friend of one of our 4 group members. We had no idea even with her positive recommendation that we would be as pleased with the hotel as we were. The location was perfect. The rooms were great and the bathrooms very large and modern. The staff could not have been more helpful with their restaurant recommendations and general info about transportation and the things that first-time travelers to an area needed. The first 3 of our 4 to arrive did not speak French but it was not a problem. We checked out of the Cecilia on Sunday morning after 2 nights to travel to southern France but had made reservations for the night before we were to leave as we were flying out of Charles de Gaulle airport. They allowed us to leave luggage that we did not need in their storage area while we were gone. When we returned on Wednesday afternoon, they handed us our keys, asked about our trip and immediately told us where to find our rooms - no signatures required. We opted for the breakfast buffet which was really great: coffee, assortment of juices, croissants, yogurts, fruit, cheese, jellies and jams, toast... We could not have asked for more."

This small hotel is a real gem and ideally placed for a short trip to Paris. Our room overlooked the Arc De Triomphe - everywhere was within walking distance. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Fabulous value for money - highly recommended!
